English 110 DP Hamza Javed

I’m a first year student at The City College of New York, and I’m majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I registered for English 110 in my second semester, because I couldn’t find an English 110 class that fit my schedule in the first semester. This course had a great impact on my writing and introduced me to college level writing. My portfolio will highlight my writings during the course of the semester, and how I developed throughout the semester.

I have placed my portfolio in four different parts, according to the four major assignments that were stated in the course pack:

Throughout the course I have learned the importance of English writing in my life and how to keep getting better at writing. This class helped me learn many new concepts. All in all, I am really grateful for my peers and most importantly my professor, who allowed my English 110 experience be memorable.
